In response to COVID-19

At Basecamp Resorts, the health and welfare of our guests, employees, and community is our primary focus. As COVID-19 continues to be felt around the world, we will be doing our part to keep everyone safe. We are closely monitoring both federal and provincial government statements regarding COVID-19 cases and following guidelines and best practices as instructed by these agencies and local health departments.

Our Commitment to Cleanliness.

When guests check into Basecamp Properties over the next few months, they will notice a number of additions to the company’s regimen designed to set an even higher standard of cleanliness. Specific areas of focus include:

Surface Areas: In public spaces, the company has added to its already rigorous cleaning protocols, requiring that surfaces are treated with hospital-grade disinfectants and that this cleaning is done with increased frequency. In guest rooms, Basecamp has added to its detailed cleaning practices, requiring all surfaces and switches to be thoroughly cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectants.

Guest Contact: To help alleviate the risk of COVID-19 transmission through person-to-person contact, Basecamp has adopted an automated check-in systems which enables guests to access units via private, exterior entrances without having any physical contact with our staff or other guests. Basecamp will also be using signage in its lobbies and public spaces to remind guests to maintain social distancing protocols and will remove or re-arrange furniture to allow more space for distancing in common areas. The company is also working with supply chain partners to make masks and gloves available to out staff.

Laundry: All linens will be cleaned in 150 F water with Clorox Bleach and dried at 175 F to ensure the utmost sanitation.

So, rest assured, our guests will be safe as we continue to work together to flatten the pandemic curve and keep our community healthy. We also continue to donate rooms to local firefighters, paramedics and first responders in need of local accommodations. We thank you for your patronage during these times of uncertainty. Please stay positive and be respectful of the recommendations of our health care professionals, governments and practice social distancing.

Together we can make a difference!
